Drysuit Diver Course

  The Dry Suit Diver course will give you a basic knowledge and specific skills needed to minimize risks and gain experience in dry suit diving, as well as train you to properly select, use, and maintain your dry suit. Topics covered are drysuit types, styles, function, maintenance, managing buoyancy and addressing problems with valves and other components.
The course consists of a 3.5 hour classroom session and a 1.5 hour pool session where you’ll master dry-suit specific skills and safety maneuvers before completing 2 open water dives in a drysuit.
 

Prerequisites: Open Water Scuba Diver certification from any internationally-recognized SCUBA certification agency.

Required Materials: Drysuit Diver Education System (included). Students are encouraged to have their own SCUBA gear, but basic SCUBA rental package for course (BCD, regulator, cylinders, and weights) is available for $50.

Course fee: $250 or $330 with use of rental drysuit.
